Bio/Experience

Below you will find brief backgrounds of myself and my colleagues.
Doug Benning started Austin Road Productions in February 2005, after working as a freelancer in and around Austin in various aspects of production and postproduction.  He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in creative writing and political science in 1998.  He has written and directed two short films, one for the Purdue Film Club.  In addition to fiction, he has shot two adventure races, directing one of the shoots himself.  He has conducted and filmed interviews in both public and private settings, ranging from music preference to cancer survival.  As a musician, he has written original material and recorded using various PC programs.  He has lately been learning and practicing digital photography.
Phil Goetz graduated from Purdue University in 1999 with a degree in Communications.  He is currently working on his Master's in the RTF department at the University of Texas.  From 2000 to 2005, he was the assistant producer at Concordia University of Austin.  He has worked productions in New Orleans, Orlando, and Las Vegas, in addition to studio and location shooting in Austin.  He has covered everything from Lutheran Youth Gatherings to adventure races.  He is also the producer of Local Live on KVR-TV, the video broadcast of KVRX's award-winning live music program.  He is a musician, writer, photographer, and artist.
Mike Perazzetti graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Film and Television Production. He produced a series of four public service announcements in California to encourage voter turnout in 1990 which aired on select cable networks throughout the state. He has worked as a feature video photojournalist for the NBC and ABC networks in Savannah, Georgia. In New York, he worked as a freelance video photojournalist and as a production manager. He produces an independent internet radio show in his spare time where he introduces the international internet public to a variety of unsigned bands and singer-songwriters.
Keith Nanyes graduated from Concordia University at Austin in 2003 with Honors, then decided to explore photojournalism. He has a background in media law, and shoots both video and photographs. He has completed an insurance video for a condominium development, as well as running camera and conducting interviews on the Austin Women's Adventure Race.  He has been described as hard working, creative, and disciplined, with an easy-going attitude that allows him to communicate with clients on a down-to-earth level.
